Alice Buckner
Overview
In 2006 Alice Buckner celebrated her 10th year as an independent consultant, and in the first quarter 2007 she crossed the 100 clients served mark.
The organization development field looks at business and human endeavor in 3 ways:
- Individual
- Group
- Whole System
Alice’s work involves analysis, adjustments and interventions at all of these levels, with executive coaching, performance improvement design and implementation, experiential learning and strategic planning as major service areas.
When asked whether she specializes in a type of organization or an industry, Alice explains that some of her most brilliant solutions for clients have been inspired by best practices in completely different types of organizations.
While Alice has worked in virtually every type of organization to some extent, her local work in Southern NH since 1998 has mainly been with small to mid-sized privately held businesses and a range of non-profits including some major health care systems.
Alice started out in 1996 as a conflict resolution, negotiation and creative problem solving specialist basing her approach on the Harvard Negotiation Model. Since ’96 she has branched into many other applications and models, but at the heart of all her work is the belief that the quality of relationships with an organization’s internal and external stakeholders are at the foundation of superior outcomes. This is true whether you are looking at employee relations, customer service, sales, global account management, vendor relations, public policy, government relations, strategic planning, corporate learning or leadership development.
